There are usually a couple a year. It’s rare, but not impossible. Many of them are turned by one guy. Example, Men on first and second, line drive up the middle, shortstop catches the ball, but both runners are going. He steps on second so the guy who left second is out, tags the runner who rant to second from first.
Triple play. One guy. Not uncommon really. I think Tony Fernandez did that for the Yankees a few years back. Somebody did it this past season.

I’m sitting here, watching the Caribbean Series, and, seeing as I’m not a baseball connoisseur (yet), I came across this puzzlement… Has their ever been a triple play in the history baseball?
Hah, cool! More than I expected, but still quite a few… Call it an oxymoron.
